The Los Angeles Lakers roll into the Chase Center at 10:00 PM EDT for their first preseason run, meeting a Warriors squad already nursing a 0-1 record and a mounting injury report. Golden State’s defensive rhythm is still in the shop after coughing up 104.0 points in their opener, and the optics don't get much better with Jimmy Butler III and Moses Moody sidelined by surgery.
The Warriors are essentially running a triage unit tonight, with Kristaps Porzingis hovering as a game-time decision and the rotation looking thinner by the hour. While the Lakers enter with a clean slate, the real story is whether Golden State can find any defensive footing before the regular season grind actually begins. Head over to StreakChat to lock in your pick and join the conversation as these two squads test their rotations.
